Sometimes known as a rock rake or york rake, a landscape rake features many curved C-tines that are pulled, sometimes pushed, behind a tractor that scrape through the grass and pull out debris. The spring-like action of the landscape rake keeps the tines firmly on the ground without tearing too deep and destroying the entire field. A landscape rake can be used to clear rocks and roots or other debris such as sand, and angles to allow for windrowing. In the reverse position the york rake can push debris close to structures or property lines.
